The Matrix
When it comes to group of Matrix movies, there are mixed opinions. However, most people will admit that unless they pay very close attention and use their imaginations, they tend to get quite bored the first time they watch The Matrix. The truth is that without the incredible special effects, the movie would have been a box office loser. The special effects are often the ONLY thing people remember about the movie in fact, leaving the plot to be hardly describable.
The Matrix was meant to be a great movie, but something happened along the way. The story is an extremely intricate one, with many twists and turns. The action tends to be underappreciated because most of the viewers have no idea why it is occurring in the first place.
Two things traditionally happen when someone watches The Matrix for the first time. They either end up intellectually drained from trying to keep up with and figure out the confusing plot for two hours or more. Or, they end up bored out of their mind because they give up on the movie after the first twenty minutes.
The second and third editions of The Matrix do tend to get a little better and the plots are less confusing. Of course, it could be that views just accept that they will be confused and stop trying to figure it all out. One thing is for sure however. You cannot take a bathroom break during any of The Matrix movies, or you will have no hope whatsoever of finding your way back into the movie. And forget about asking someone near you to explain it. The Matrix is not a movie that can be explained!
